Land and Shore Creative (LSC) is a “swiss army knife” Design-Build firm. We are a team of passionate design and construction professionals, artists, and craftspeople that offer design and expertise from concept to completion. We provide a streamlined design-build experience with a strong emphasis on collaboration with our clients and partners at every step. Our experience spans a wide range of commercial, cultural, and residential projects all over the 5 boroughs and beyond. Along with our partners, including architects, engineers, and expediters, we can serve as the single-point team for your project.
We like renovations, additions, and respectfully built new construction. Our designs emerge out of a relation with our clients and the existing place, considered at the building and neighborhood scale. We prefer to use ecological materials and strive for sensitive and inclusive design.

After completing his schooling, he embarked on a career as an electrician and successfully managed a series of remodeling projects on his own, all before the age of 20. His expertise encompasses plan analysis, quality control, and a great understanding of permits and building codes. In addition to his construction background, Chris brings a unique dimension to his profile as an international touring musician. His diverse skill set, wealth of experience, versatility, and commitment make him a valuable asset for all our design-build collaborations. Outside of his professional life, Chris enjoys spending time upstate with his three children and his favorite color is orange.
Josh Hubbard
Co-Founder
An English artist and musician currently residing in New York City. He is a founding member of the bands The Paddingtons and Skaters, both of which have extensively toured the world. From the age of 17, his extensive world touring expanded his passion for craftsmanship, design, and community. He renovated his first home at the age of 18 with the help of his grandfather. Later, Josh opened Thieving Harry's, a 75-seat cafe and bar, in the seaport district of his hometown, Hull, in 2013. This endeavor led to the establishment of various venues, bars, and shops throughout the area, making Hull a prime destination for food and culture. In 2012 in NYC, he co-founded ‘8-Ball,' a collective that produces art, publishes media, and creates opportunities to share cultural programming. 8-Ball has produced works all over the world and has pieces in the permanent collection at MOMA in New York. In 2019, he co-founded LSC to continue his creative journey, this time with a different set of tools. If he could ask you a question it would be… what would ‘The Clash’ do?
